Take Aim (Means of Grace)

What could be more wonderful than the idea that God has given us simple means of accessing his grace? And yet, try to think of the last time one of your friends told you they were totally content with the progress of their spiritual life. Rather than be discouraged by where we are today, we should be encouraged by where Christ has invited us to be tomorrow. For millennia, followers of Jesus have found daily connection with him through plain practices of the Christian life: prayer, fasting, scripture, and receiving the Lord’s Supper (to name a few). It is through Eugene Peterson’s “Long obedience in the same direction,” that we can see something so simple produce profound results. This summer, join us for a theologically rich and practically minded series on these means of grace. The invitation: pick one or two, and "take aim" at the person of Jesus Christ by integrating simple rhythms of encountering his grace into your daily life.
