First, LOVE

Understanding the correct "order of operations" is crucial. When driving, it can mean the difference between a collision and a skillfully executed maneuver. For instance, every safe driver verifies the absence of oncoming traffic before making a left turn at a flashing yellow light. Prioritizing vigilance before action can determine not only your safety but also the avoidance of costly mistakes. Order of operations matters in our relationships too. Often, we judge others based on their external appearance, race, the car they drive, age, or the struggles they face. However, if judgment is step one in our interactions, we commit a critical order of operations error. Jesus' model of Christian life shows us how we are to interact with each other. In all of our interactions, no matter where the relationship might lead, we are called to first, love.
